Michael Jackson is a talent bar none. That is why it breaks my heart when I see him now, so broken and alienated.
I remember buying Off The Wall when it came out and playing it over again. It was so great that my parents didn’t complain; I would catch them moving to the beat.
So many wonderful memories…it’s impossible to choose a best song or a best video. I dare say that the man has been the most creative force in pop music entertainment in the past 100 years. Nobody even comes close. (Sorry, Madonna, but you rely on shock value to remain contemporary!)
Oh, Michael, how I wish your life hadn’t taken such a sad turn. It’s so weird to watch him now, with that strange face deformed by surgeries…
Everybody else after him has been an imitator. Just watch today’s videos and you’ll see. Michael set the bar.
